Assistance sought identifying man wanted in stabbing investigation, Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man wanted in a stabbing investigation. 

It is reported that: 

- on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at 3:46 a.m., a 22-year-old man was approached by a man in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area

- a verbal dispute ensued and the 22-year-old man followed the other man to a nearby apartment building

- a physical altercation ensued and the 22-year-old man was stabbed.

- the 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries 

The other man is described as 25-40, thin, short black hair. He was wearing a black baseball hat, baggy grey or black hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt, dark calf-length shorts and blue Nike Jordan shoes.

Security camera images of the man are released.
