The Toronto Police Service, 51 Division and TAVIS Initiative would like to invite the media and the public to a mural unveiling at David Crombie Park on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 2 p.m.

The TAVIS Neighborhood Initiative, 51 Division officers and Constable Scott Mills (cell 647-449-2801) of Corporate Communications will be in attendance and available to the media, along with the youth artists and mentors, for a mural unveiling. Festivities will include an unveiling ceremony, accompanied by live music, dance, and photo exhibit opening.

The basketball court surface was damaged in 2013, by police, during an arrest. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Foundation donated a new surface and officers became involved during the repair. Many community groups and programs have supported this project including:
