Sexual Assault Alert, Jarvis Street and Maitland Street

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a report of a sexual assault.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 11:15 a.m. police responded to a call in the Jarvis Street and Maitland Street area for a sexual assault

-a woman was walking along the sidewalk when a man approached her from the opposite direction and sexually assaulted her

-the man was last seen walking westbound on Wellesley Street, near Yonge Street

He is described as black, 5'9"-5'10", 25-35, medium build, with a noticeable gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a grey winter hat with ear flaps and a black winter jacket.
