Bullying Awareness Week - November 17-23

This Bullying Awareness Week (November 17-23), Kids Help Phone is making it easy for everyone in Canada to participate or enhance their own Bullying Awareness Week activities. Here are three steps you can take:

1.      VISIT our new Bullying Awareness Week webpage (kidshelpphone.ca/baw) to access tons of great resources for kids and adults, including tip sheets, social media memes and other tools, videos, statistics, and much more.
You can also find support and tools if you, or someone you know, is affected by bullying, and make a donation to support Kids Help Phone’s important work helping young people cope with this often devastating issue.

2.      SHARE this message on your social media networks, and ask friends, family, and co-workers to do the same:
This Bullying Awareness Week, take a stand against cyberbullying. Pause before you post. Report hurtful comments. Promote respect. #BAW13
Share this message on Twitter and Facebook

3.      TELL a young person about Kids Help Phone, where professional counsellors are always available to offer help and hope with bullying: 1-800-668-6868 or kidshelpphone.ca, and encourage them to download our free app, Always There. If you are a young person, why not program our number into your phone or download the app yourself?

Together we can make a BIG difference for all young people affected by bullying (those experiencing it, those witnessing it, and those doing bullying themselves). Won’t you join us?
