FEELING CONGESTED - Phase 2: Making Sound Decisions

www.feelingcongested.ca

In early June, the City of Toronto officially kicked off Phase 2 of the "Feeling Congested" transportation public consultation campaign, which focuses on:

(A) an introduction to the concept of designing "Complete Streets" in Toronto;
(B) a draft bicycle policy framework; and
(C) a decision-making framework to help identify Toronto's rapid transit priorities.

The goal of "Feeling Congested" is to engage Torontonians on a range of issues related to transportation planning, priorities and funding. This work will continue to support and inform the ongoing comprehensive 5-Year Review of the city's Official Plan transportation policies, the development of a new long-term transportation plan, and the development of a funding & investment strategy.

We want to ensure that local Toronto resident groups are included in this conversation, since transportation is so important for all our vibrant and unique neighbourhoods around the City.

The deadline for Phase 2 public feedback is on July 30th.  Please share this information with the people and businesses in your neighbourhood.
